Gratitude is not always easy in times of anxiety.
In moments of challenge reminders of gratitude can feel like the last thing you want to hear. And more than that it is a mindfulness practice that feels beyond your current bandwidth.
At some point in time, we realize that being grateful for what we have might not be that annoying after all. And we may realize it might actually be just the right juxtaposition to our current challenge.
When we witness something that is going on with someone else that we may not have experienced before, this makes our challenges seem manageable in comparison.
From this we may naturally feel grateful that we don’t have such experiences.
This can lead us to a continual practice of gratitude.
Allowing us to put our challenges in the back seat for a moment and embrace the good in our lives.
